It’s that time again to join or renew your membership with the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce. Your ongoing financial contribution is what enables the Chamber to function throughout the year. We are focused and driven to promote, protect and preserve the businesses in our community.
2023 was a busy year. We held ribbon cutting ceremonies for several new businesses and our Small Business Saturday as always was a success. Our greatest accomplishment this year was the downtown mural commissioned for the side of the Friend Flooring building. With the help from several businesses, organizations, and personal donors we were able to make a community improvement project become a reality. To achieve this goal we held several fund raisers for the mural including a wine bus trip, the No Compromise play in April and a silent auction during Antwerp Days. Our scholarship fund continues to grow. This year we were able to offer $750 to a deserving senior from Vantage. We also had our first ever Chocolate Walk in downtown Antwerp with 13 businesses participating in that event. Finally, we raised money to support the proposed new basketball court at the Antwerp Ball Fields.
A new year of membership brings opportunities to expand our membership and grow the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce. Our strength and vitality comes from the unity within our businesses and our presence in the community. Why join the Antwerp Chamber of Commerce?

For the past several years members have been taking advantage of Cost Savings Benefits that are offered to us through the Northern Ohio Area Chamber of Commerce. Businesses have joined the Group health Insurance plans and recently the Chamber Energy Solutions. See enclosed a brochure that lists all of these available benefits.
The dues are minimal:
Business membership $60.00
Service organizations and churches $35.00
Home-based businesses $25.00
Friends of the chamber $20.00
Last year we had several businesses receive $10 in Chamber Bucks because they volunteered to help in 2 or more Chamber events in 2023. We plan to offer this promotion again this year to encourage help with Chamber Events.
The Chamber of Commerce holds monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of every month at 12:30 pm at the Pin-A-Rama Bowling and Dining establishment. We can notify you by email of our regular meetings on the Monday prior to the meetings. We can also notify you of special events throughout the year.
It is our hope that you will want to be a part of this organization and support our efforts to PROMOTE and PROTECT all local businesses and our great community.
